With the release of Acunetix WVS Version 6.5 latest build; 20090728 (https://www.acunetix.com/support/build-history.htm), we announce that Acunetix WVS has better support for web applications with CAPTCHA, single sign-on and Two factor authentication mechanisms.  Thanks to the new ‘Manual Intervention’ module, IT security professionals can now save valuable time when securing web applications, since much less manual tasks are required to scan web applications which use CAPTCHA and modern authentication mechanisms.
Using the Login Sequence Recorder, mark pages with CAPTCHA or modern authentication mechanisms for manual intervention.  Once that specific page is being crawled, a window will automatically pop up where you can enter the required values.
For more information about the new Manual Intervention module, refer to the section ‘Marking Pages for Manual Intervention’ in the Acunetix WVS user manual, or this FAQ (https://www.acunetix.com/support/manual-intervention.htm).
