"One needs both the "cracker eye" view and the developer view to create a Web site that is both secure and reliable," said the reviewer. "The main use of Web Vulnerability Scanner is to tell you that there is a problem, one that a cracker can exploit."  The cracker eye view helps locate vulnerabilities which could allow hackers to create specially formatted messages that would cause problems for one's system. The reviewer states that, "This is the reason you need a product such as Web Vulnerability Scanner." When tested Acunetix performed well, "I tested a number of Web sites, and it wasn't ever wrong," confirmed the reviewer.
