Changing your password

All Acunetix users can change their account password through their profile settings. System Administrators can also set parameters for password history and change frequency that applies to all users.

This article explains how to change your Acunetix account password through the user profile settings. For information about how System Administrators can configure password settings for all users, refer to Managing account and access settings.

TIP: New passwords require a minimum of 8 characters, containing at least 3 of the following: 1 number, 1 lower case letter, 1 upper case letter, and 1 special character e.g. !@#$%

How to change your password

  1. Log in to Acunetix.
  2. Click [Your Name] in the top left corner of the page, then select Profile from the drop-down menu.

  1. In the Security section, click Change password.

  1. On the Change password page, enter your Current password. Then enter your new password into the New password and Confirm new password fields.
  2. Click Update password to save your changes.

Your password is now changed. The next time you log in to Acunetix, use your new password.
