Target Groups

Targets can be grouped for easier management by creating Target Groups. For example, from the Vulnerabilities page, you can filter for the vulnerabilities of one Target Group, or on the Scans page, you can filter for scans of a specific Target Group. Acunetix Premium+ customers can also assign target groups to users, thereby limiting user access to only specific Target Groups.

This guide shows you how to create a Target Group and then add existing Targets to that Target Group.

How to add a Target Group

  1. Select Targets > Target Groups from the Acunetix menu.
  2. Click + Add Group.

  1. In the Group Name field, enter a name that will allow you to easily identify this Target Group.
  2. Optionally, enter a Description for the Target Group.
  3. Click Save.

The new Target Group is added to the Target Groups page. You can now add Targets to the Target Group.

How to add Targets to a Target Group

  1. On the Target Groups page, click the Group Membership icon in the Actions column for the relevant Target Group.

  1. Select the checkbox next to each Target listed on the right-hand side of the page that you want to add to the Target Group.
  2. Click < Add To Group.

The selected Targets are now added to the Target Group and are listed on the left-hand side of the Group Membership page.

To remove Targets from the Target Group, select the Targets on the left-hand side, then click Remove From Group >.

Now when you view the Target Groups page, the Target Count column will be populated with the number of Targets assigned to the Target Group.
