Description
WordPress Plugin Limit Login Attempts is prone to a security bypass vulnerability. Exploiting this issue may allow attackers to perform otherwise restricted actions and subsequently keep trying "auth cookies" even during lockout enforcement. WordPress Plugin Limit Login Attempts versions 1.6.2 and 1.7.0 are the only ones vulnerable.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 1.7.1 or latest
