With customers using an array of web technologies and webservers, including IIS and Apache servers running both PHP and ASP.NET platforms with HTML5, SOAP, REST and JavaScript in place, Lexsi needed a scanner which suited all the technologies their customers rely on. Invicti is well known for its ability to crawl all of these technologies, including the facility to crawl single page applications, detecting a wide range of vulnerabilities.

Competitively priced, easy to use and well supported

Lexsi also use HP WebInspect and IBM AppScan in conjunction with Invicti Web Vulnerability Scanner. When compared with WebInspect and AppScan, Lexsi found Invicti Web Vulnerability Scanner (WVS) to be lighter and quicker to use. The vulnerability detection ratio comes very close to that of HP WebInspect but at a fraction of the price. Lexsi also found Invicti WVS to be easy to install and configure.

Auditing the security of applications
