Invicti Website Security Scanner

If you’ve visited this site before, you’ve come here for one thing: accurate, fast DAST that tells you what’s actually exploitable in your web applications and APIs. That’s not changing. What is changing, starting today, is the name on the door.

Acunetix is now Invicti Web + API.

The capabilities are the same. The team behind them is the same. The name now reflects exactly what the product does โ€” and exactly where it fits in the Invicti platform.

Why now, and why this name

Invicti was built in 2005, at the very beginning of the shift from static web pages to true web applications. The goal then was the same one that drives us today: make it easier for security teams to validate real vulnerabilities and act fast to resolve them.

In 2018, Invicti became part of Invicti Security, a company founded by security engineers who saw a need for change in the cybersecurity space and built it themselves. Invicti brings together the tools, automation, and expertise to help organizations keep web applications secure, from early development through production.

Invicti Web + API is one of three packages on the Invicti platform. The name reflects the work directly: proof-based scanning and AI-assisted testing that validates exploitable vulnerabilities across web apps and APIs. It fits within a platform built for organizations that want to reduce real runtime risk without adding operational complexity. The name has changed. The mission hasn’t.

What this means if you’re a current customer

Nothing about your product changes on August 3. No disrupted workflows, no new logins, no reconfigured integrations. The Invicti website will look different. Everything else remains the same.

What doesn’t change

What made Invicti worth using for nearly 20 years was accuracy. Proof-based scanning that shows what an attacker can actually reach. Zero noise. Evidence you can act on. That is exactly what Invicti Web + API delivers โ€” and exactly what the Invicti platform is built around.

The name is new. The work continues.
