Description
WordPress Plugin BuddyPress is prone to multiple vulnerabilities, including security bypass and cross-site request forgery vulnerabilities. Exploiting these issues could allow an attacker to perform otherwise restricted actions and subsequently edit access over items belonging to BuddyPress's Email post type, delete group activity items belonging to groups to which they don't have administrative access, or to perform certain administrative actions and gain unauthorized access to the affected application. WordPress Plugin BuddyPress version 5.1.2 is vulnerable; prior versions may also be affected.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 5.2.0 or latest
