Description
WordPress Plugin FireStats is prone to multiple cross-site scripting vulnerabilities and an authentication bypass vulnerability. An attacker may leverage these issues to gain unauthorized access to the affected application and execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site. This may allow the attacker to steal cookie-based authentication credentials and to launch other attacks. WordPress Plugin FireStats version 1.0.2 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 1.1.7 or latest
