Description
WordPress Plugin Universal Post Manager is prone to cross-site scripting and SQL injection vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage these issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site, allowing him to steal cookie-based authentication credentials, and to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit vulnerabilities in the underlying database. WordPress Plugin Universal Post Manager version 1.0.9 is vulnerable; other versions may also be affected.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 1.1.2 or latest
