Description
WordPress Plugin WP Comment Remix is prone to an SQL injection vulnerability and multiple HTML injection vulnerabilities because it fails to properly sanitize user-supplied input. An attacker may leverage the HTML injection issues to execute arbitrary script code in the browser of an unsuspecting user in the context of the affected site, allowing him to steal cookie-based authentication credentials. The attacker may exploit the SQL injection issue to compromise the application, access or modify data, or exploit latent vulnerabilities in the underlying database. WordPress Plugin WP Comment Remix versions prior to 1.4.4 are vulnerable.
Remediation
Update to plugin version 1.4.4 or latest
