In just 2 weeks, we released an updated version of Acunetix WVS version 6 to address issues reported in an independent web scanner comparison report published by Ananta. What’s for sure is that now we will do even better than we already did as a leading web vulnerability scanner 🙂
The CSA (Client Script Analyzer) engine had other major improvements; now it also supports jQuery and YAhoo! UI JavaScript libraries. The Crawler and the SSL and RSS/Atom parsers also had their share of major improvements. New vulnerability checks, OS checks and web server configuration checks were also added in this build.
