The most eagerly anticipated event of the year in the cybersecurity space, the RSA Conference, has come to a close, attracting close to 40,000 security professionals from around the world. The Acunetix team has been delighted to be part of the conference and we would like to thank everyone who came to our technical talk or came by our booth, either in search of an automated web application security solution or simply to say hi.

This year’s conference theme was Human Element, which tied into all aspects of cybersecurity, from risk management, governance, and compliance, to product security and DevSecOps. And as we observe the industry’s continuous shift towards secure engineering processes, yet another topic highlighted at the RSA conference, it is a good feeling to note that an automated solution such as Acunetix can play a part and help make up for a shortage of cybersecurity talent.

A few highlights for us this year:

  • The new Acunetix v13 product demonstrations were well received by the conference visitors.Acunetix booth at RSAC 2020
  • Mark Schembri’s talk on the benefits of Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) generated a lot of interest, with inquisitive questions from the audience and further meetings.Mark Schembri at RSAC 2020
  • Mark Ralls, COO, joining us at the conference and coinciding his presence at the RSA with an interview for Security Weekly.Mark Ralls at Security Weekly

Have you visited us at RSA 2020? If not, we look forward to seeing you there in 2021!
