We are proud to announce a new build of Invicti Web Vulnerability Scanner 8. Build 20120403 offers you a new feature which automatically verifies vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting and Directory Traversal, and helps you save loads of time.
Invicti WVS already presents a very low number of false positive results. This build lowers the false positives even more by automatically specifying vulnerabilities that are definite positive results. Each vulnerability that is confirmed as being positive will be followed by a verifying notification. The verification process is therefore easier and much faster. You can focus on fixing discovered vulnerabilities, rather than spending hours checking all the scanned results manually. The scan reports generated by Invicti WVS 8 are now even more accurate and effective for your web security.
The above example shows an SQL Injection vulnerability that has been verified as being positive. The verifying notification is shown in the vulnerability title from the scan results report.
How to Upgrade to Build 20120403:
On starting Invicti Web Vulnerability Scanner 8, a pop-up window will automatically notify you that a more recent build is available for download. To download the latest build, navigate to the General > Program Updates node in the Tools explorer, click on Download and Install the new build.
